What To Bring


Included in the Yurt:
*Propane heating, lighting and stove top cooking with a fully                                      stocked kitchen of pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls and cups

*Firepit with bbq grill that swings over and away from the fire 
Available during spring, summer and fall                                                                            (You are welcome to burn 'dead and down' wood)

*Private Outhouse with toilet paper

*Comfortable sleeping on beds, bunks and futon couch

*Kitchen table and chairs for all guests

*Soap, sponge, buckets for cleaning and water retrieval

*Topo map of the area



Do bring:
*Sleeping bag and linens

*Small cooler if you must bring refrigerated items in warmer months

*Gear: Hiking and other gear depending on the season

*Head lamp or flashlight

*Clothing - remember the weather in the Adirondacks can change quickly 

*Water filter or boil water for 1 minute from Falls Brook which is spring fed & delicious!

*Backpack to carry everything in.  Some guests bring pull carts/sleds which are difficult to pull as the trail is a gradual uphill to the yurts.  Be careful not to overpack.  The yurt is very well equipped.

*Snowshoes are necessary in winter as the snow can be abundant.

*A Sense of Adventure - enjoy comfortable wilderness lodging with a playground just outside your door!
